What will I study?
You’ll explore topics with a combination of classroom teaching, project work and site visits. Students get involved in their subject, using independent learning and teacher guidance to meet the requirements of the course. Each Unit of our BTEC targets a theme: Unit 1 is The world of Travel and Tourism; Unit 2 is global destinations, which is assessed as a mixed assessment with information analysis; Unit 3 is coursework, a series of presentations, mini projects and reports to cover the principles of marketing in Travel and Tourism; and the final unit, tackles Global destinations through a coursework project that is guided throughout the unit. It’s a fantastic balance of exam and project work, all with a real-life, practical slant.
