Day 7
Our final day of skiing... I'm not crying, you're crying!!
Another beautiful day, gorgeous blue sky and fabulous skiing conditions. A few new faces today as we got some new instructors for the final day. There was no Slalom race this year, so instead, the instructors met the groups at 3000m and skied down. The pupils enjoyed a drink, the views, and in some cases a nap at Heaven 3000m. The Beginners came down in the Cable Car and was then taken back to 3000m via the chair lifts to ski down on their final runs of the week.
The instructors then came to the Hotel Villa Rina before dinner for our presentation event. Medals were given to the pupils in each group who were the 'fastest', 'most determined' and 'best technique'. All the pupils received a certificate booklet to show their level at the end of the week.
Following Dinner we held our own little awards presentation with the winner being:
Lovey human award - Ollie
Best crash - Hoby
Bambi on Ice - Tristan
Quiz winners x4 - Charlie, Klaudia, Freddie & Mollie
Most likely to cause an avalanche - Faith
Most resilient- Chris
Best injury - Clara
Pupils have now started packing ahead of our departure tomorrow.
There is a revised timetable for tomorrow as following a lay in, and a late breakfast we are leaving the hotel at 3pm for Verona.
