Day 4
Following the 'all you can eat' pizza evening the night before, most of us rolled out of bed this morning slightly full but very excited about the new day's skiing. Certain members of our 6th Form had challenged themselves to break the record for the most pizza eaten, and credit where it is due, they gave it a very good go!! (a special mention to Abi and Ethan in their Head2Head battle to eat the most!!).

The weather conditions today were challenging. The wind gust hit 50mph and, unfortunately, that meant that the top of the mountain was only accessible via the Cable Car. That didn't seem to dampen any enthusiasm for the skiing, with all the groups heading out to find new paths around the mountain. Excitingly, and for the first time in many years, the runs down from Bormio 2000 to the town were open and great to ski on. The more advanced groups were able to get down some of the more challenging red runs – some staff members, however, were less successful in their attempts. Good effort, Miss Stephens!!
