Squid Cashless Catering and Online Payment Solutions

As part of our drive to enable you to engage with the school more effectively, we have introduced cashless catering and online payment solutions.  This will allow you to make payments to your child’s account via the internet.

The preference of the school is to use biometrics as this is more secure and faster than any other method of identification. Your child will be required to be registered biometrically. Please be assured that this information remains within the school and the biometric information taken is an algorithm and not the actual fingerprint. 

However, if you choose not to have your child registered, we will provide a smart ID card free of charge, however if this is lost, there will be a £5 replacement charge. Once your child has registered, we will inform you how to open a Squid account.

If you do not wish to enter any information online, your child will be able to bring cash into school and simply top up their account using the ‘refresh’ machine situated in the small foyer behind Reception. 

You can control how much credit is placed on the account.  There is a daily set spend limit of £5 in place.  If you would prefer this to be higher or lower, please put your request in writing to the Catering Manager.
