Ski Course Day 3

A beautiful day in the mountains and a wonderful way to spend Easter Sunday. The whole mountain was alive with skiers as Millan came to the mountain. There was a real festival and party feel to Bormio 2000.

The students are all making amazing progress and there are smiles all round as turns are linked, jumps made and the use of parallel to refer to the turns they are making fills the air. Day two on the mountain is when boots feel tight and students find new muscles that they did not know were in their legs. However, the smiling faces and successes of the last runs seems to have dulled any aches and pains.

We headed off into the town after another excellent meal to soak up some of the Italian culture. Ready for an extra half an hour in bed tomorrow morning when they wont have to get up until 6am as a special treat for being such an amazing group. I think they are all looking forward to Pizza night, as well, tomorrow.
