Post results Queries & Confirmation of Sixth Form Courses

Please note that any post results queries should be directed to the email addresses listed below and should not be directed to individual staff. Teaching staff are unable to discuss the awarding of specific grades and all queries will be dealt with by the examinations staff.

Appeals

All information relating to the teacher assessed grading process and the related appeals process is available under the Teaching and Learning section of the on the school website on the page ‘Teacher Assessed Grades 2021’. All queries relating to this process should be sent to the account Results2021@williamfarr.lincs.sch.uk. Any documentation for appeals should be sent from a student’s William Farr School email address.

The appeals process is partly being conducted during the school holidays and the time taken to respond to emails and complete the stages of an appeal will be determined by the number of requests, as well as staff availability. We will process all requests within a reasonable timeframe and will meet the examination board deadlines providing that the required documentation has been correctly completed and submitted in to us in line with the deadlines listed on the school website.

Autumn Exam Series

Ofqual has confirmed that there will be an examination series running in the Autumn term for students wishing to sit their GCSE or A level exams. Students wishing to sit examinations in this series will need to email Mrs Lister, Exams Officer, at b.lister@williamfarr.lincs.sch.uk. by Friday 3 September 2021 to confirm any entry costs and make their examination entries. Entries may be made for a short while after this date, but will incur exam board late fees.

Confirmation of Sixth Form Courses

Students who wish to confirm a place in the Sixth Form or to request a change of subject choice should email Y12admissions@williamfarr.lincs.sch.uk.

To be eligible for a Sixth Form place, students must have met the entry requirements for the Sixth Form and for all of the subjects they are applying for. Students are able to change their subject choices providing the subject they are wishing to change to has places available.

Sixth form subject and form allocation will be completed when the school reopens.

The school is now closed until Thursday 2 September 2021. Please be patient in waiting for a response to any emails as staff are now on their summer holidays.
