Year 9's got Talent!

On a cold and quiet Tuesday lunchtime Year 9 all headed to the Main Hall to see the phenomena that was Year 9’s got talent! The judges Miss Cowperthwaite, Mr Hodson, Mrs Dungate and Mr Stones were eagerly awaiting the varied performances and they were not disappointed. Prior to the show many Year 9 acts had auditioned and only 7 acts were able to go through to the live show. The show kicked off with a whole form performance of Into the Woods by 9BLC which set the bar high for the remaining talent. This act was followed by singing acts by Lauryn Young and Walter Robinson, a dance act duo comprising of Emily Stones and Dylis Reid, Joseph Shepherd and Kaie Turner performing a singing duet, Maddy Clover and Niamh Lally dancing and finally the Cheesecake crew singing their original version of eggs and bacon. The 4 judges had a difficult decision but the winners of the talent show were the infamous Cheesecake crew who were awarded a trophy by Mr Stones. This was a fantastic event that was well supported by all. Well done, Year 9!
