Following discussion with the National Union of Teachers, I can confirm that the school is in a position to stay open on the proposed day of strike action, Wednesday 26 March.
There will be some disruption to lessons as we will not be in a position to ascertain which members of staff will be absent and therefore which lessons will be taught. We are aware of the number of staff involved and have plans in place to cover lessons accordingly.
Students will be asked to bring material for private study in the event that their lessons are affected by the strike action.
