Another extraordinary year of results at William Farr Church of England Comprehensive School

This has been another extraordinary year of results at William Farr with a record number of students sitting at Advanced Level. With the average number of UCAS points at 88.5 per ‘A’ level exam per student, this represents the highest total ever achieved. This strengthens and confirms our reputation for academic excellence.

  • 51% gained either an A*, an A or a B .
  • Over 25% of all grades were A* or A. This is the highest in the School’s history, bucking the national trend.
  • Almost 75% of all students gained A*-C .
  • 33 students obtained at least 1 A* .
  • Over 71% of all students gained 4 or more A Level subject passes.
