Michael Fedoruk, RCAF, No. 44 Squadron: Evader in the Netherlands

Michael Fedoruk, a bomb aimer of the Royal Canadian Air Force, was one of a number of Commonwealth aircrew who served in RAF Bomber Command during the Second World War.  Mike was shot down over the Netherlands in 1944 and brave Dutch volunteers helped him evade capture by German forces.  You can hear Michael talking about the start of his evasion experience here:
